用法及び用量
通常，１回１～２滴を１日４回（朝，昼，夕方及び就寝前）点眼する。
使用上の注意
重要な基本的注意
　重症例には本剤単独では十分な効果が得られないので，他の適切な治療法への切替えあるいはそれとの併用を考慮し，本剤のみを漫然と長期に使用しないこと。

副作用
副作用等発現状況の概要
　トラニラスト点眼液が投与された5,951例中，副作用が報告されたのは72例（1.21％）88件であった。その主なものは，刺激感・しみる22件（0.37％），眼瞼炎12件（0.20％），眼そう痒感12件（0.20％），眼瞼皮膚炎8件（0.13％）などであった。（再審査終了時）

Effects of this medicine
This medicine inhibits chemical mediator released from mast cell by antigen prime to show antiallergic effect. It consequently relieves symptoms such as eye itching, eye discharge, blood shot eye, swelling in eyelid or foreign body sensation.

It is usually used to treat allergic conjunctivitis.

Before using this medicine, tell your doctor/pharmacist
•If you have ever experienced any allergic reaction (itch, rash etc.) to any medicine.
•If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
•If you are using any other prescription or nonprescription (OTC) medicine. (It is important to reduce the risk of drug interactions.)
 
Dosage regimen (proper use of this medicine)
•General dosage regimen: For adults, apply 1-2 drops at a time, 4 times (morning, daytime, evening and before sleeping) a day. Strictly follow the instructions of your doctor/pharmacist.
•Missed dose: Apply a dose as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT use double doses to make up for the missed dose.
•Overdose: If you used too much of the medicine (more than ordered), check with your doctor/pharmacist.
•Others: Do not stop using the medicine without the instructions of your doctor.

Side effects of this medicine
Common side effects are reported as below. If any of them occurs, check with your doctor/pharmacist: irritation, eye-smarting, redness around the eye or rim, itching, blood shot eye, swelling in eyelid, etc.

In rare cases, symptoms described below may be the sign of side effects indicated in brackets [ ]. If they occur, stop taking your medicine and check with your doctor immediately.
